NFL Divisional Playoff Viewership Wrap– The NFL announced today that for the third year in a row an average of 34 million viewers tuned in to the Divisional Playoffs.  All four games were also the most-watched programs of the week on all of television.  Sunday’s Texans/Patriots game led the way (37.7 million viewers) followed by CBS’ Saturday’s Ravens/Broncos match-up (35.3 million).  Seahawks/Falcons (32.1 million) and Packers/49ers (30.9 million) on Fox round out the weekend action.

All Four Divisional Playoff Games to be Featured on NFL Turning Point–  The NBC Sports Network will look back at all four NFL Divisional Playoff games on this week’s edition of NFL Turning Point.  Dan Patrick hosts the show tomorrow at 10:00p.m. ET.

SiriusXM to Carry Lance Armstrong/Oprah Winfrey Special– SiriusXM Radio will have radio coverage of Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Lance Armstrong.  Oprah and Lance Armstrong: The Worldwide Exclusive will premiere on SiriusXM’s Oprah Radio (XM channel 111 and Sirius channel 206 with Sirius Premier) on Friday, January 18.

TNT Has All-Star Game Announcement and Double Header Thursday–  Prior to this week’s NBA double header, TNT will have the exclusive announcement of the 2013 NBA All-Star Teams.  Ernie Johnson will host with analysts Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith.  Game oneof the double header tips-off at 8:00p.m. ET with the L.A. Clippers at Minnesota Timberwolves.  Kevin Harlan, Mike Fratello, and Tracy Wolfson will be on hand.  At 10:30p.m. ET Marv Albert, Steve Kerr, Reggie Miller and Craig Sager will have the call as the Miami Heat take on the L.A. Lakers.

Team USA World Baseball Classic Team to be Unveiled on MLB Network–  The MLB Network will have exclusive coverage of the unveiling of the USA World Baseball Classic team in a special Thursday afternoon.  Matt Vasgersian and Bill Ripken will have the announcement on Hot Stove Thursday at 10:00a.m. ET.  Later in the day, the remainder of the Provisional Rosters for the 16-team field will be announced on MLB Network during a World Baseball Classic Roster Special live at 4:00 p.m. ET. Co-hosted by MLB Network’s Greg Amsinger and Heidi Watney with Dan Plesac and Bill Ripken.

ESPN Networks Part of New Deal Between Disney and AT&T U-Verse–  The Walt Disney Company and AT&T U-Verse have announced a long-term deal which will allow multiple Disney networks to be carried on the cable television provider.  Included are the ESPN family of networks, including the online as part of the WatchESPN app offerings.

CBS Sports Network Has Four Men’s College Hoops Games Over the Next Two Days–  Three men’s college basketball games will air on the CBS Sports Network over the next two days.  Wednesday at 8:00p.m. ET Xavier takes on St. Bonneventure with Don Criqui and Chris Spatola on the call.  At 10:00p.m. ET Steve Lappas and Doug Gottlieb call the action as UNLV takes on San Diego State.   On Thursday at 7:00p.m. ET Duquesne takes on UMass with Dave Ryan and Pete Gillen at the mic.  The finale will feature St. Josephs at VCU with Tom McCarthy and Steve Wolf.

Big East Women’s Twin Bill on CBS Sports Network–  The CBS Sports Network will televise a Big East women’s basketball double header tonight.  At 7:00p.m. ET James Bates and Tammy Blackburn will call Georgetown at Notre Dame.  At 9:00p.m. ET Louisville and Connecticut will do battle with Brent Stover and Debbie Antonelli courtside.
