All MLB Media is Local- Miami Marlins

Here is the contingent of local media covering the MIAMI MARLINS.

NewspaperThe Miami Herald is the major metropolitan newspaper that serves the city. Its sports section provides comprehensive coverage of the team, including a Marlins-specific page. Clark Spencer (Twitter) and Manny Navarro (Twitter) are on the beat and host the paper’s Fish Bytes blog.  The Herald has some well known columnists in Dan Le Batard (Twitter),  Greg Cote (Twitter) and the legendary Edwin Pope.

Sports Radio–  790AM/104.3 FM The Ticket is the radio home for the Marlins in the Marlins Radio Network.  Dave Van Horne and Glenn Geffner (Twitter) have the call of the games. The Spanish language broadcast of the games are on WAQI with Felo Ramirez and Luis Quintana.  AM 940 WINZ The Sports Animal and WQAM are other radio outlets to folow the Marlins.

TelevisionFox Sports Florida has the television coverage of Marlins games. Rich Walz works with Tommy Hutton for a majority of the games.  Craig Minervini (Twitter) and Allison Williams (Twitter) share studio hosting duties with analysts Jeff Conine, Cliff Floyd (Twitter) and Preston Wilson. Local television stations following the Marlins include WFOR,  WPLG, WSVN, and WTVJ.

BlogsFish Stripes, Marlins Diehards and Marlin Maniac are some of the independent blogs following the team.
