CBS Sports Network at the PGA Championship

The CBS Sports Network (CBSSN) will be providing expanded coverage of golf’s fourth major, The PGA Championship.

CBSSN produce a one-hour nightly review show after each round of the tournament called PGA Championship Clubhouse Report.  The program will be produced Thursday, August 8th through Sunday, August 11th at 8:00pm ET and hosted by Andrew Catalon with analysts  Billy Kratzert and Billy Ray Brown.

CBSSN will replay highlights from the third and fourth round immediately following the PGA Championship Clubhouse Report Saturday and Sunday.

Grant Boone, Brian Crowell and Bobby Clampett will host PGA Championship on the Range Thursday and Friday from 8:30am to 10:30 am ET.

Golf Channel at the PGA Championship

The Golf Channel is planning on producing nearly 50 hours of news coverage of the PGA Championship at The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island, S.C.

The network’s coverage will be anchored by Live From the PGA Championship, the network’s signature news program from golf’s major tournaments. Coverage will begin Monday with an hour-long preview show at 6 p.m. ET and conclude Sunday with a two-hour recap show following the conclusion of the championship.

Morning Drive, the network’s live, weekday morning show, will expand to seven days next week, featuring daily guests from The Ocean Course. The Grey Goose 19th Hole will broadcast live from the golf course at a special time on Wednesday (6-7 p.m. ET) featuring a round-table discussion previewing the hot topics heading into Thursday’s opening round. Michael Breed will host a special The Golf Fix on Monday at 7 p.m. ET live from The Ocean Course driving range.

The Golf Channel will also be the place for live news conferences Tuesday and Wednesday from Noon to 3:00p.m. ET.

GolfChannel.com will feature expanded editorial content and interactive capabilities with fans timed to the PGA Championship.

CBS Sports Network to Air Live U.S. Open Tennis and PGA Championship Program

CBS Sports announced today that the CBS Sports Network will air live U.S. Open tennis matches as well as produce a program during the PGA Championship.

As a compliment to CBS Sports’ coverage, CBS Sports Network will air live U.S. Open matches during the Labor Day weekend September 1st through 3rd.  These third and fourth round matches will be those not seen on CBS itself.

The network will also produce a live studio show, Today at the U.S. Open, beginning at 10:00am.m ET during Labor Day weekend. CBS Sports Network will also televise US Open qualifying matches beginning Tuesday, Aug. 21 through Friday, August 24.

“The US Open is a marquee event and we’re proud to extend coverage to CBS Sports Network and further showcase live action from one of the biggest stages in sports,” said David Berson, Executive Vice President, CBS Sports and President, CBS Sports Network in a press release.   “This deal continues our aggressive expansion of CBS Sports Network programming around major CBS Sports properties.”

For the PGA Championship the CBS Sports Network will produce On the Range, a program featuring player interviews, analysis and a preview of the day’s action.  Grant Boone, Brian Crowell and Bobby Clampett will host the show each day of the tournament.

CBS Sports Network’s PGA Championship programming also includes encore airings of CBS Sports’ third and final-round broadcasts of the 2012 Tournament, as well as classic PGA Championships from years past.

Multiple Networks Have PGA Championship Covered

Golf’s final major, the PGA Championship, takes place this weekend from the Atlanta Athletic Club.  And multiple networks will provide extensive coverage of the tournament.

TNT will have live coverage of the first two rounds of the tournament, Thursday and Friday from 1:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. ET.  TNT will have early coverage Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am to 2:00pm ET.

CBS will have exclusive coverage of the finale of the last two rounds from 2:00pm to 7:00pm ET.

The Golf Channel will be on site for for over 50 hours of special programming throughout the week.

Finally, Sirius XM Radio will have radio coverage from the Atlanta Athletic Club over XM channel 93 or channel 208 on Sirius Premier.  On course coverage begins at 11:00am ET on Thursday and Friday and 1:00p.m. ET Saturday and Sunday.
