NBC Leads All Networks in Sports Emmy Nominations

The nominations for the 34th Annual Sports Emmy Awards were announced today by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.  More than 170 nominees were announced in 34 categories.  You can view the entire list of nominees and categories here.

The NBC Sports Group earned the most Emmy nominations with 58 followed by ESPN with 43.  NBC was helped by its coverage of the 2012 London Summer Olympics which, as an entity, earned 14 Emmy nominations.

The winners will be announced May 7th in New York.
