All MLB Media is Local- Pittsburgh Pirates

Here is a peak at some of the local media outlets covering the PITTSBURGH PIRATES.

Newspaper– The City of Pittsburgh are served by the Pittsburgh Post Gazette and the Pittsburgh Tribune Review.
The Post Gazette has a very detailed online sports section with a page dedicated to the Pirates. Beat writers Bill Brink (Twitter) and Michael Sanserino (Twitter) have the team covered.  the apri also author the PBC Site.  Columnists Ron Cook and Gene Collier (Twitter) will also have their say on the Pirates.
The Tribune Review also presents a respectable sports section. They also have a dedicated section for the club. Beat writer Rob Biertempfel (Twitter) also keeps up the paper’s Bucco Blog.  The Tribune has a stable of columnists who may also chime in on the team.

Sports RadioKDKA-FM 93.7 The Fan serves as the flagship for the Pirates Radio Network. Either Greg Brown or Tim Neverett (Twitter) will call the games with analysts Steve Blass, Bob Walk or John Wehner.  WBGG and 93.7 The Fan serve as the sports radio talkers in town. Along with The Fan ESPN 970 WBGG will also follow the Bucs.

Television– All the radio talent also work on the television coverage of the Pirates over at Root Sports Pittsburgh.  Follow the Pirates on local television networks at KDKA, WPGH, WPXI, and WTAE.

BlogsBucs Dugout, Where Have You Gone Andy Van Slyke, Rum Bunter and Raise the Jolly Roger are some of the independent site following the Pirates.
