Sports Media Digest- January 14, 2013

NFL Network Replays of Divisional Playoffs–  The NFL Network will be replaying all four of this weekend’s Divisional Playoff games.  The action begins tonight at 8:00p.m. ET with a replay of the Ravens at Broncos.  Tomorrow at 8:00p.m. ET The Packers at 49ers will re-air.  At 9:30p.m. ET tomorrow the Seahawks at Falcons will replay.  At 9:00p.m. ET Wednesday the Texans at Patriots will get another airing.

NBA Action on ESPN– ESPN once again will have double header NBA action this Wednesday and Friday.  Wednesday at 8:00p.m. ET Mike Breen, Hubie Brown and Lisa Salters will call the Houston Rockets at Dallas Mavericks.  At 10:30p.m. ET the Miami Heat take on the Golden State Warriors with Dave Pasch and Jon Barry.  Friday at 7:00p.m. ET the Chicago Bulls take on the Boston Celtics with Mike Breen, Hubie Brown and Chris Broussard on the mic.  At 9:30p.m. ET Dave Pasch, Jeff Van Gundy and Lisa Salters call the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Dallas Mavericks.

ESPN Selected as Spanish-Language Outlet for World Baseball Classic-  ESPN and the World Baseball Classic, Inc. (WBCI) have reached a deal for ESPN to present exclusive Spanish-language rights to the World Baseball Classic in both 2013 and 2017.  ESPN Deportes will provide comprehensive coverage as the Spanish-language home for both events, with live telecasts of all 39 games this year.  In addition, ESPN Deportes Radio and ESPN Radio will broadcast games in Spanish and English.

ESPN to Telecast MLS Super Draft-  The 2013 Major League Soccer (MLS) Super Draft will take place Thursday and ESPN will provide live coverage of the first pick on the noon edition of SportsCenter.  The remainder of the draft will be telecast on ESPN3 and ESPNFC with Adrian Healey, analysts Taylor Twellman and Alexi Lalas and reporter Mónica González.
