MLB Network To Look Back Best Baseball Films with Costas at the Movies–  The MLB Network is producing a new program with a focus on discussing some of the most beloved baseball movies.  Costas at the Movies, hosted by Bob Costas, will feature Costas speaking with the stars of those movies. The program premieres Monday, January 14 at 8:00 p.m. ET with Tommy Lee Jones and Director from the film Cobb. Future editions will be held on January 21st, January 28th, February 4th, and February 11th.  Following each 30-minute Costas at the Movies episode, MLB Network will air the night’s featured film.

Fifth Season of The Haney Project Debuts Next Month on Golf Channel– The fifth season of The Haney Project, the Golf Channel series where famed teacher Hank Haney works on the golf game of a celebrity, will return February 25th at 9:00p.m.  This season will feature Haney working on the golf game of Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps.

Friday Night Fights Returns to ESPN Tomorrow–  The next edition of Friday Night Fights on ESPN will include the main event featuring former Lightweight title challenger “The Gladiator” John Molina Jr. (24-2, 19 KOs) and Dannie Williams (22-2, 18 KOs).  Friday’s co-feature will pitMiddleweight Brandon “Flawless” Gonzales (16-0-1, 10 KOs) against “Dangerous” Don Mouton (11-4-1, 9 KOs). The card will open with a four-round Light Heavyweight bout between Siju Shabazz (4-4, 2 KOs) and Mark Lujan (professional debut).  Joe Tessitore and Teddy Atlas have the call with Todd Grisham in the studio.

Pro Bowlers Tour Returns Sunday to ESPN–  The next leg of the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA) Tour takes place this weekend in Las Vegas at the PBA World Championship. Lon McEachern and Randy Petersen have the call beginning at 1:00p.m. ET.

SI Publishes Special Alabama BCS Champions Issue-  Sports Illustrated announced today it has released its special commemorative edition featuring BCS champions Alabama Crimson Tide.  Here is the cover:
