NFL Turning Point Returns to NBCSN– The NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) will debut its second season of NFL Turning Point this Wednesday night at 10:00p.m. ET.  The premier edition will featuring the key plays of the Broncos win over the Steelers, the Redskins upset of the Saints, and Eagles quarterback Michael Vick wired for sound.

Tigers/Gamecocks CBS SEC Match-up on September 22nd-  CBS Sports announced today that its September 22nd SEC on CBS game of the week will feature the Missouri Tigers at the South Carolina Gamecocks.  Kick-off will be at 3:30p.m. ET with Verne Lundquist, Gary Danielson and Tracy Wolfson.

NFL Network Signs with Lexus as Thursday Night Football Halftime Sponsor–  The NFL Network announced today that Lexus has signed on as title sponsor for the network’s Thursday Night Football half time show.  The Lexus Halftime Show will originate live from inside the stadium for each game in NFL Network’s 13-game schedule beginning this week.

AL East Showdowns on ESPN and ESPN2 This Wednesday– ESPN and ESPN2 will telecast a pair of games Wednesday night that will go toward deciding which teams will remain in the playoff hunt in the American League East.  Dave O’Brien, Normar Garciaparra, and Curt Schilling will have the call on ESPN as the Yankees take on the Red Sox.  On ESPN2, Sean McDonough, Aaron Boone, Rick Sutcliffe, and Tim Kurkjian will call the Rays at Orioles.  Both games begin at 7:00p.m. ET.

Sun/Mercury WNBA Action On ESPN2-  ESPN2 will continue its WNBA coverage this Wednesday night at 10:30p.m. ET as the Connecticut Sun visit the Phoenix Mercury.  Pam Ward and Carolyn Peck will have the call.

World Team Tennis Finals on NBCSN–  The NBC Sports Network (NBCSN) will provide coverage of the World Team Tennis Eastern Conference Championship and Finals.  The Eastern Conference Finals will air Saturday, September 15th on NBCSN beginning at 12:30am ET.  The finals will air LIVE Sunday at 3:30p.m. ET.  The Eastern and Western Conference Finals can be seen live online at wtt.com.  Leif Shiras will host the  broadcasts and will be joined by analyst Luke Jensen.
