NBC Sports Group’s 2012-2013 NHL Broadcast Schedule

It is still unclear to what extent we will have an NHL season this year as the league and players work toward a new collective bargaining agreement.

Nevertheless, the NHL has a schedule in place for 2012-2013 and the national television coverage for the season has been released.

NBC Sports Group has the national television rights to the NHL in the United States and unveiled its schedule today.

More than 100 regular season games will air on NBC and the NBC Sports Network.  The network will also have coverage of the NHL Winter Classic, the All-Star Game and the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

NBC Sports Network will have exclusive rights to action on Wednesday nights.  The network will also continue to produce its pre and post game NHL Live and NHL Overtime programs.

NBC will telecast 14 games this season, with it’s Game of the Week coverage beginning on January 20th.  Here is the schedule:
