As we get closer to the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, NBC announced plans today for coverage of the Games that will air on MSNBC, CNBC, and Bravo.
Combined the three networks will provide 284.5 hours of coverage during the course of the Games. MSNBC will host 155.5 hours of a wide variety of Olympic sports, CNBC will carry 73 hours of Olympic boxing coverage — including the debut of women’s Olympic boxing — and Bravo will serve as the home of Olympic tennis with 56 hours of coverage.
Each of the networks will have a host dedicated to its coverage of the Games. Longtime Golf Channel host Kelly Tilghman will serve as the studio host for MSNBC, working her first Olympics. Fred Roggin will host the boxing coverage on CNBC. Pat O’Brien returns to the NBC Olympics team hosting coverage on Bravo.
