ESPN Going All Out to Cover Klinsmann’s Debut as U.S. Soccer Coach

The debut of Jurgen Klinsmann as U.S. Men’s Soccer Head Coach takes place tomorrow night and ESPN is planning extensive coverage of his first match when the U.S. takes on Mexico in Philadelphia.

ESPN2 will kick-off coverage of the match by producing a special edition of SportsNation at 4:00p.m. ET.  Michelle Beadle and former U.S. National Player Taylor Twellman will co-host the show from Lincoln Financial Field.

ESPNews will host a 30-minute special, SportsCenter Special: USA vs. Mexico Preview beginning at 8:30p.m. ET with Bob Ley serving as host with analysis from Alexi Lalas and ESPN Deportes’ Jorge Ramos.

ESPN2 will have the match beginning at 9:00p.m. ET with Ian Darke and John Harkes on the call.  Rob Stone and Monica Gonzalez will serve as sideline reporters.

SportsCenter will also be promoting the match throughout the day, including an interview with Klinsmann conducted by Julie Foudy.
