ESPN’s NFL Analyst Stable Grows with Addition of Douglas

ESPN has announced that former NFL defensive end Hugh Douglas has been added as a football analyst for the network.

Douglas will be adding his take on the NFL on such shows as SportsCenter, NFL Live, ESPN2’s First Take and ESPNews.  Douglas begins his duties today.

Douglas spent ten years in the NFL, playing for the Jets, Eagles, and Jaguars.  He retired in 2003.

Douglas also spend time as an on-air reporter in Philadelphia on WTXF-TV, KYW-TV and Comcast SportsNet.  He has also done work for Philli sports radio WIP.

“I am very excited about becoming a part of the ESPN family,” said Douglas in a press relases.  “I plan to approach my role with ESPN with the same tenacity and commitment that I had during my 10-year NFL career.”
