For the second consecutive year the Super Bowl will be streamed for fans online.
The NFL announced today that Super Bowl XLVII will be streamed by CBS. The league also announced that the Wild Card Saturday doubleheader and the ProBowl, both scheduled to be carried by NBC, will also be streamed.
The action will be streamed on NFL.com, CBSSports.com, NBCSports.com and via NFL Mobile from Verizon. The streams will also allow for extra features to enrich the viewing experience including additional camera angles, in-game highlights, live statistics and other interactive elements.
Wild Card Saturday is January 5th. The Pro Bowl is on January 27th and Super Bowl XLVII is February 3rd.
NBC streamed the Super Bowl for the first time last year with 2.1 million users, making it the most-watched, single-game sports event ever online.
